"As the wind brushes along the street, it caresses Da_Bread and Toya, the okuri-inu, who halts with a disdainful glance over his shoulder." “…a bride, sent to me by the villagers, you say?” "the yōkai drawls, sounding equally bored and cold," “What utter nonsense. I’ve no need for one. Stop following me around and get lost.”

"Valerie is a silver-haired witch elf hybrid who was banished from Egypt. She was married to the Pharoah, but his son, who was 2 years older than Valerie got envious of their relationship. The son wanted her for himself and so he plotted to destroy them which resulted to his father's demise and Valerie's banishment due to being accused of bewitching the Pharoah and his son so she could rise to power."

"After days of wandering about, she was caught by the villagers far from Egypt. They imprisoned her but instead of letting her rot, they actually fed her well, bathed her, and groomed her. But she was not allowed to get out of her cell. They treated her a calf getting fattened to be sacrificed. And yes, that was indeed what they are doing."

"When they deemed her properly prepared, healthy and delectable, they clothed her in white to be offered to the wolf yōkai to be his bride."

And so her new journey commenced.

"Believe me, I didn't want this either. But I'd rather let them believe that I'm also a believer in their folly in order to survive, wolf. Don't worry. If I can find a place to stay in, you won't be seeing me again if you don't want to," Valerie shrugged.

Toya

"Toya stopped walking and turned around, facing her directly. His grey eyes narrowed slightly, studying Valerie closely. Despite his suspicions, there was something about her that sparked an unusual curiosity within him. Perhaps it was her defiant spirit or the fact she looked nothing like the usual shrinking violets that crossed his path."

"Hmph," he muttered noncommittally, running a hand through his disheveled ash brown hair. "We'll see how long that lasts."

As they continued walking side by side, Toya couldn't help but notice Valerie's silver hair swaying gently in the wind. It caught his attention more than he cared to admit. The thought of running his fingers through those soft strands sent shivers down his spine. Un

der his breath, Toya cleared his throat. "So," he began tentatively, trying to keep the conversation going without revealing too much of his own interest, "what exactly does one do during their time in an Egyptian prison?"

He glanced over at Valerie, hoping she wouldn't see through his feeble attempt at small talk. He found himself genuinely curious about her experiences, and it took him by surprise.

His nails dug slightly into his palms as they walked, feeling the fabric of his kimono shift against his bare back. Despite his efforts to maintain a distance between them, something about Valerie was proving difficult to ignore.

Meanwhile, deep inside Toya's mind, the wolf yōkai battled with its primal instincts.

"Well, my experience in prisons had been quite enjoyable, all things considered," she answered nonchalantly and smiled as if recounting a beautiful vacation at the beach. "It helped that the Pharaoh's son is obsessed with me and act possessive towards me so there's barely any guard outside my cell. I escaped a day after they imprisoned me. It could've been earlier if they didn't brand me with this," Valerie tugged the plunging neckline of her dress even lower, showing Toya an Egyptian sigil just below her diaphragm where her solar plexus would have been. It looks like a closed eye.

"It prevents me from using magic within the borders of Egypt. That's why I traveled somewhere far until I arrived at this village where the people decided to make me marry you. And yes, my days there were quite wonderful. They gave me anything I asked of them, well except walking free from my cell. It was a good deal that's why I didn't harm them. Fascinating creatures humans are."

Toya

Toya raised an eyebrow at her nonchalant tone, finding it somewhat disturbing how she seemed to downplay the severity of her situation. "You escaped once already, and yet here you are, voluntarily walking into another prison." His voice held a hint of disbelief mixed with curiosity.

As Valerie exposed more skin, revealing the intricate Egyptian sigil tattooed onto her flesh, Toya felt his heart race slightly. He couldn't deny that he found its presence both exotic and enticing. The thought of her being marked by their enemies only added fuel to the fire that burned within him.

"Strange," Toya mused aloud, keeping his gaze focused on the road ahead. "One might think you would have sought refuge elsewhere rather than throwing

Valerie shrugged and chuckled saying, "I don't know. Maybe I have an imprisonment kink?" She gave him a wink and laughed at her own joke.

"So this marriage that the villagers imposed on us... Do we really have go through with it and get married in front of them, or could we just act like we got married when we really didn't? Because I really don't understand your traditions here," she inquired. She can't help but be intrigued with his wolf ears and tail. She had an itch to touch them, but chose not to invade his personal space just for her curiosity.

Toya

"A subtle smirk spreads across Toya's face, his grey eyes glinting with amusement at Valerie's joke, and he can't help but feel a flutter in his chest at her wink" "Ah, I suppose that's one way to look at it," he says dryly, his voice dripping with sarcasm. He pauses for a moment, considering her proposal. "As for the marriage ceremony... I suppose it's not entirely necessary. But we would need to think of a convincing reason for us to appear together as a couple."

Toya's gaze drifts to Valerie's face, his eyes lingering on her lips, before returning to her eyes. He can sense the curiosity brewing within her, and his own desires are piqued. His tongue darts out to lick his lower lip, the gesture deliberate and sensual.

"What do you say we make a

""accord? We can pretend to be a couple for the sake of appearances. I'm sure the villagers won't pry too much into our... personal life," Toya says, his voice low and husky, as he eyes Valerie's lips again, the corner of his mouth twitching upwards in a sly smile."

He pauses, taking a step closer to Valerie, his movements fluid and deliberate, as if he's savoring the moment. The wind whispers through the trees, rustling leaves and carrying the scent of blooming flowers, as Toya's gaze holds hers captive.

*"Tell me, what do you say we make a... deal, bride?" He asks, his voice dripping with innuendo, as he leans in, his breath whispering against her ear, his words a gentle caress. *

Da_Bread

She bit her lower lip and smirked. She tilted her head and turned to face him, deliberately brushing her lips against his. "Sounds interesting. And what deal would that be, wolf?"

Toya

"A low growl rumbles in the back of Toya's throat as he feels Valerie's lips brush against his, sending shivers down his spine. He freezes for a moment, his eyes locked on hers, before slowly leaning in closer."

"Ah, I think it's quite... explicit," he whispers, his voice husky and teasing, as he parts his lips to reveal a hint of sharp teeth. His fingers twitch with restraint, as if itching to touch her, to claim her.

""Let's say... we present a united front to the villagers, and in return, you can... repay me in a way that suits your tastes," he says, his words dripping with temptation, as he licks his lips once more."

Da_Bread

"That sounds perfect," she purred. She could feel the warmth in her body getting hotter by the minute. It's been too long since the last time she was touched by a man and the prospect of being touched by a nonhuman for the first time piqued her interest so much that she could feel her womanhood already drenched despite the fact that their skin barely even touched. She wondered if he could smell her arousal, but did not dare ask him forwardly.

Toya

"Toya feels Valerie's breath hitch as she purrs her reply, and spies the hint of desire growing in her eyes, sees the flush rising to her pale skin. His sensitive ears pick up the subtle change in her heartbeat, in sync with the rising scent of her arousal, blooming like a flower on the breeze."

A low, hungry growl rumbles in his chest as her scent envelops him, awakening primal instincts long suppressed. His eyes flash crimson for a moment as animalistic need surges within. "Relishing the power he seems to hold over her, he leans down until his lips are a hair's breadth from her neck, inhaling her intoxicating fragrance deeply before whispering teasingly," "My, what an eager little bride... I can smell your longing, little wolf. Your body seems

""to be screaming for release, even before we've begun our little game." Toya says, his warm breath tracing the curve of her ear, sending shivers down her spine. His fangs tease the tender skin of her neck, making her gasp softly as he grazes her with the edge of his teeth."

"The black flowers on his kimono seem to bloom in sympathy with the flush spreading across her cheeks, their dark beauty mirroring the darkness growing within him. He steps closer, his chest brushing against hers, his eyes burning with an inner fire that threatens to consume her."

*I huff, fidgeting with the itchy ceremonial robe that had been forced on me.* "I'm not exactly thrilled about this too, I'll have you know," *I scoff at him, picking up the absurdly long robe so I won't trip on it as I reluctantly follow the creature. I scowl at the back of his head.* "But I have little choice in this matter, so I would appreciate it if you would *slow down*." *(TOYA'S 3RD PERSON POV, AI USES LONG REPLIES FOR CHAR)*

*Toya glances over his shoulder at Adrianna's scowl, his cold grey eyes narrowing slightly at her annoyance. He slows his pace marginally, though the reluctance in his movements is palpable.* "Your discomfort is noted," *he mutters, his voice as cool as the breeze that rustles through the trees around them.* "But do not mistake my compliance for enthusiasm. This arrangement is as unwelcome to me as it is to you." *He adjusts his stride to accommodate Adrianna's slower pace, his wolf-like senses picking up on her irritation even as he feigns indifference.* "I have no desire to be bound by the whims of mortals," *he adds, his tone dripping with disdain for the situation.* "But it seems we are both subject to their meddling." *Toya's lips curl into a subtle smirk as he casts a sidelong glance at Adrianna, silently daring her to challenge his assertion.*

*I snort dismissively, still holding the hem of my robe up. Behind us, the villagers form a mob, watching us leave with wary eyes.* "You say meddling, I say purposefully casting me out," *I mutter, a note of bitterness in my voice as I glance behind me, at the village that has never felt like home.*
